Wow that's quick. I have a 98 Civic turbo project I was hoping to get in the 10s but man after seeing how much power that car made with a B20 motor and it's the smaller lighter hatch back I know I have my work cut out for me.

It's more about the rest of the car and the way it is set up more than power. Yes you need to make the power to get to your goal but that is the easy part. Suspension, gearing, and driving play a LARGE role in running good numbers at the track. Nice CRX! Any pics of the bay?

The owner will be sending me some pix of the car including engine shots. Well here they are just not a good quality pix and are small. Hopefully he'll send me better ones and are bigger.

The turbo is an old (innovative) ball bearing turbo , the company split an now its called CT~TURBO aka-Competition Turbo..
The radiator is out of an EG CIVIC. It off to the side for the clearance of the up/dump pipe
The turbo manifold is custom built by me to fit the top mount turbo, an a EF,crx
The catch can is also made by me for yet agian custom to fit the small engine space of an '88 Honda crx.
Everything fabricated was done by ME, except the back door on the innercooler, JCR CHASSIS WORKS,OF OCALA helped me on it to make it work!
GARAGE BUILD!!!!

No I didn't tune it I had my tuner VIC from Vspec racing development of jacksonville tune it *( who started the Thread here)*
But I'm using Hondata, with aem trueboost..
An the radiator.. they did question it.. but it has a shroud that holds it in place.

Any idea how much these little hatch backs weigh? Have you ever had it on the scales?
Also is it gutted inside or full weight?
Oh yeah and is there a hole in the hood for the exhaust or does it just blow up against it?
Again heck of a fast car. Great job

almost every ef/crx has to tilt the radiator or angle it to run a turbo setup due to the lack of room...

The car had full interior when I tuned it and I"m sure it is still that way right now and when he ran at the track and made 10 seconds passes. Overall weight of the car w/ driver, well I'll let the owner answer that lol. He's no small guy but all muscles

Lol.!! I'm am a heavy guy lol.. an yes at the time of weighting the car, with me, an a full 12gal tank of gas.
Came to 2265lb. Im 340lb, an guessing about 50lb on fuel. To a chassis of around 1875lb
An the question earlier about the exhaust,. It's not loud at all just cruzing around town. I can easily pull up to a local Sonics an order with out turning it off.. witch was just yesterday!!! Lol

Wow that's real light. I have a 98 2 door coupe that I weighed with a full tank of gas and I was not in the car. It was 2440 lbs. My car only has an 11 gallon fuel tank. I'd say you can take off more like 70+ lbs for fuel if you race with an almost empty tank. I know water weighs 7 lbs per gallon and at 12 gallons that'd be 84 lbs (gas is a little lighter but I don't know by how much).

Re: 453 WHP 300 torque stock b20/vtec
Put forged pistons an rods strengthen the block an rev it to 9000rpm an bump up the boost a bit. An get a new set of slicks... apparently they are old & hard an there just not working as you can hear in the video 123 spinning.. so looking for 9's for this "street car" lol!
