1991 Wagon Suspension
Hello everyone,
I have a 1991 Wagon. It's the 2wd DX model. I'm asking for some advice on my suspension. Id like to spend around $1000. My goal is to be as low as possible without having to roll my fenders. I'm also going to have 15x8 rims down the road. Currently I'm all stock with the exception of Function 7 LCA's. I'd welcome any input on
-Coilovers
-Shocks
-Extended Tophats
In addition,
-Wheel Offsets
Also, If you run any set up and have recommendations, post em up!
Thanks in advance!
Jonathan

Re: 1991 Wagon Suspension
Come on guys!
I'm looking to make my wagon handle like a go kart!
Help me out!
I was looking into buying these...
http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/viewP...idcategory=252
And maybe skunk2 camber kits so everything rides correctly.
Thoughts Anyone?

Re: 1991 Wagon Suspension
Hey, I'm from Pennsylvania, so no Orange County meets for me :/
And my budget isn't really stiff, I just threw that out there. I want to get the good set up the first time, so whatever the costs, then so be it!
Thanks!

I love my Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilovers!
And you will have a hard time being low and running a 15x8 wheel with any kind of low offset if you don't plan on rolling/pulling fenders.

Re: 1991 Wagon Suspension
the wagon group im in might all be going with the Ground control kit.
its listed at about $1219.00 on their site. still need to add in shipping and tax. so it might be around $1500 when its all said and done.
as a larger group im thinking if we all get this at the same time we should be able to get a better deal. you can join if you like. just pm me your contact info.

as for experience, there is only one guy in the group has the actual kit in his car, but that car is an acura integra. either way he says its well worth the money.
its got upper mounts which allow dropping the car really low and will not hurt too much the shocks inside. i am assuming that this should drop very low, but i have not seen a wagon with it yet.
the spring rate can be anything we want. so if you want a particular rate for your ride in the front vs. the rears then you just tell them when ordering and another person can order something else. this does not cost extra.
there is a lifetime warrenty on the unit if you buy from a certified dealer, which all of us down here believe that will make it or break our decision.
