94 tranny to 91 tranny
i got my 94 accord EX with no reverse. it all goes in all gears except reverse. when i try to put it in reverse, it only goes halfway but not engaging (if you know what i mean when shifting in reverse)
anyway, i found a 91 LX tranny and installed it. i'm not sure what the difference is, but it's working.
so my question now is, how is this different from my 94 EX tranny? i was searching for a P2A4 or P2U5 but nothing. so i had no choice but to go with the 91 LX (H2A5)
i will take a pic of the housing of my 94 tranny. i think there's a crack in the housing

Re: 94 tranny to 91 tranny
so the EX tranny is still better?
does that mean i'm now using a long-gear tranny? or the H2A5 does not necessarily mean a long-gear tranny?

Re: 94 tranny to 91 tranny
Can you do what you did in reverse for a manual? take a p2u5 tranny from a 94-97 and throw it in a 90 honda accord? (which actually calls for h2a5) the gear ratios are the same. im having this problem
