Pop the hood. Look to the left. See if there's some contraption that looks like an octopus-a box and a lot of metal tubes running out of it.

Well that would be part of the ABS system so if it's there you have it.

Wait until it rains and slam on the brakes!
(Just kidding. Don't do this. It's dangerous, and your mother would kill me.) |

lmao no the e-brake is fun in the rain though
but i also found that if you dont have the yellow abs light when you turn the ingition on then you dont have abs either and you should feel a pulsing in the brake pedal, and lastly you shouldnt skid. (just some useful info if anyone reads this with the same question)

Not exactly accurate. The system can be in place and you not get those indicators at all. You can have a blown ABS bulb or the system could be on the fritz and you won't feel the feedback of the system when you depress the brake pedal. Also ABS helps PREVENT you from losing control of your vehicle when stopping. There's no guarantee you won't skid depending on the circumstances.

ABS Feedback on my jeep i had is dangerous, would kick your foot off the pedal lol. I'm down for the wet brake check lol. If you can steer while braking hard you got it, if they lock up and you slide into your neighbors bmw.. well you get the picture
On a second note if you do decide to test the latter method get it on video >:D

The first time you feel that rapid feedback from your ABS system it will scare the crap out of you.

are you just wanting to know or are you buying axles. I get a hook up on prices where I go and the guy asked me if I had ABS on my '96, I didn't know. He ordered the ABS version just in case because they are same price and the only difference is the ABS axles have ridges on the inner side of the outer boot. it won't hurt to have them. Plus look at the available stock and shipping times or the 2 types. Ran into that too.
