FYI for anyone that has lost the key to their wheel lock - Accord 07
I just wanted to post a little piece of information. My husband lost the wheel lock key to our Honda Accord today. We searched for a tire/wheel shop to take them off, no luck or they wanted over $100.
So my husband went to the local tool business, Harbor Freight, asked the clerk if he could recommend anything. The clerk pointed him to the sockets, we purchased a large socket about the size of the wheel lock.
He came home, put the socket on and hammered the wheel lock right off the wheel!
It was simple...just thought I would share the info..

cheaper to do this then have it done, you can buy a decent set of wheel locks to replace them for under 30 bucks

Less chance of damaging a rim or socket with this, but I've used the socket method plenty of times. Quick and easy in an emergency.

For future reference, unless its an emergency and you need the wheel taken off right then, go to the dealer, and have them use their master set to remove your wheel locks and put the original lugnuts back on. Then when they remove the lock, they can call McGuard and order a replacement key for you based off the lock they used from the master set to remove yours.
You can also order a replacement lock if you still have the factory wheel lock package which contains the set codes they need to sell you a lock.

Are you retarded? Like seriously? Hammering a socket onto a wheel lock idk if it would be damaged persay but after hammering a socket on it what use could it serve after that? Other then a lug that now needs a ratchet to be taken off?

A local honda dealership will have the master set. I would do it for free with my cordless in the parking lot..
