However ....

When it comes to which motor I prefer, I'd still stick with the B-Series. After 5 B-Series motors, and 3 K-Series (including the most recent K20A), I'm not a huge fan. The K Series have more power output, but also keep in mind they're pushing heavier cars. The K-Series power-plant signaled the end of Honda's double wishbone setups, and low curb weights. The B18C5/C-Spec R was IMO the greatest rendition of an inline four cylinder Honda engine. Combine that high-revving spaz of a motor with the ultra-slick, ultra precise hydraulic LSD transmission in the lightweight DC2-R (JH4DC231 body) and it was magic. We'll never have another Honda like that, ever again. And that is a damn shame.
This made me miss my dc2

because this thread is old, it makes even less sense. K series are cheaper than they have ever been! Doing a backwards swap is just plain wasting your money

This last couple months, i bought an 05 Accord k24a4 for $250 and an 04 tsx k24a2 for $450....why the hell you use anything other than a k series in a car that already has one

Hey man! It makes complete sense to put a motor that was designed for a sub 2000lbs car in a car that's 2000lbs plus. The smart man knows that 1.8 is stronger than 2.0 because .8 is the bigger number than .0 pssh...idiots. The B series is the smart swap all day, then put some wicked camber in the back, make it hella flush, and you have a sick ride brah.

My k20a2 just toasted on me all the cylinders smacked the valves and on cyl 4 there’s a piece of the valve broke into the piston cap I thought about a b18c turbo but in all reality I’m probably gonna get a k20a3 and put a a2 head and pistons because I already have kpro tuner so o well.
