Let me no what u think.First Honda build (h2b)
so with alot of help from my friends im pretty close to finishing my build this is my first thread so feel to tell me wat u think and give suggestions. im just gonna post pics of when i first started till most recent.
first things first ordered the main piece (h2b kit) evolution kit byt
motor arrived next from jspecauto.com
motor prep
competition stage 2 clutch
b16 tans bolted up and mounts
The day has come time to put her in
mounts where not really wanting to mount properly but we got it in there
when got it running good enough to go to the shop and start makin a down pipe since the motor didnt come with one here some pics:
Exhaust is all finished i bought myself a new birthday present
after it was running good enough to drive around it was off to go get tune.got a tune by rich one of the best tuners here in the nw.
dyno at 196whp 161wtq il have a picture of the dyno sheet up shortly
so after the tune the car was running pretty strong and since it was a friday night i decided to take it out to one of the local meet up spots to get a couple runs in and she how she does.the sprint harts i bought still had the street slicks on them that they came with from japan so they were really sticky.so after the first run this was how my car was lookin.
so i spinned through 3rd gear when i finally caught traction and hit 4th gear i heard a really loud snap. my car was well how can i put it limping down the road. wen i got to a parking lot i poped the hood to find out that i had snapped the drivers side axel but then i noticed the motor was sitting really low to the ground on the drivers side. i ripped the bolts that bolt the mount to the head of the motor out with the threads and all and the motor was nearly 1inch from the ground fml!
so i pulled the motor out took it to a shop had them re install steel threads in my head and got some better longer bolts which is wat i thought was the problem the bolts the kit provided were not long enough to the best of my knowledge. so im gonna fast forward about 5 or six months to now and show u some pics of my car as it sits today.

i had a b16 trans (no lsd) wen i first started i actually kept snapping tranny bolts(the ones that bolt the tranny mount to the tranny) n e ways that was from doing lanches. i also didnt like the tranny very much for daily driving i was at like 3900 at about 70mph sucked! i just recently put in a gsr trans and i love it! pulls like a champ on the freeway! way better than the b16 and i dont spin as much in 3rd as i did with the b16+++ for that! as far as the header it made a huge difference alot more high end power! but i also installed an electronic 3inch echaust cut out right after the header i think that made the most difference its beast now!
heres the dyno sheet i havent since dynod it with the new header i think its makin quite a bit more now as i was still workin out kinks that had idling and msd issues but im gonna do a couple pulls soon to see what she puts down.

thanks man shes far from done tho still need seats, cage, finish building the head, fresh paint, and il be happy gettin there i just ordered function form suspension will be here tomaro cant wait to put that on the tokico blue's r not gonna cut it for what im tryin to do this summer.

thanks yea i pretty surprised to see what it made. i was expecting like 180hp or something but no i havent went to the track yet. im excited to though. i really dont no what to expect im hoppin for like a low 13 or high 12 on street tires maybe im hopin for a little much well see this spring. have u ever ran at the track?? im just wondering wat all i need to make my car official track ready so i dont run into problems when i get there as far as them not letting me run my car

If you were to put your car on a dyno jet you'd make over 210whp. I dyno'd a car there once and it made 186, went to a dyno jet and made 204.

yea i was told by a friend that there dyno there reads about 30% lower than a dyno jet i just dont no where anyone has a dyno jet that i can do some pulls. i wanna do some soon tho since ive been adding more bolt ons, and maybe even some stage 2 tunner cams if the price is right.

its gutted out i still have a headliner but all plastics r out and seat belts and seats and everything.i wanted to put a cage in but i couldnt find a good deal on one or new someone that could make me one.

well i was pretty pissed when we were putting in the motor so i took out most my anger on the frame rail haha with a 10lb sludge hammer stupid stiff mounts made nearly immposible to get the motor in there..but id say a good 10 15 hits for both to clear the crank pully and alternator

yea im lookin into that those i just dont want to be to agresive since the block is going to stay stock untill i get some serious funds to put pistons rods ect... in thats why i was thinkin maybe tunner series stage 2s i just want to hit a goal of 225 to 235 whp and up in the 180 to 85 wtq
