Ep3 suspension upgade

Ep3 suspension upgade
I am looking to upgrade my ep3 suspension properly. Doing some research I have come up with several options and opinions. First of im not looking to dump my car as I do go camping and drive onto roads that could destroy my underbody if I were lowered more than 1 inch...I understand .5 maybe .9 but. Plus I like the rally look of an ep3 better than kissing the ground.
Anyways so suspension I have stumbled apon
KW variant 2 coilovers 16mm
Bilsteins with custom springs (swift?)
Again what Im looking or is suspension that will handle oversteery (27mm sway bar rear atm does very well) on a fun track day, yet be durable enough to take off the road and onto some dirt. (also planning to downgrade front sway as its stock atm)

Welcome to Honda-tech!
Have you considered the OEM HFP suspension? It lowers the car about 3/4" inch and has stiffer shocks to handle your larger rear sway bar.

Re: Ep3 suspension upgade
finding HFP Suspension would be the hard part... You could install RSX ASpec suspension, getting it to fit is fairly simple and gives about the same drop as HFP and still stays with OEM quality.
I was on the cheaper budget and I tracked down some low milage OEM struts and low mileage Eibach prokit (1.0" front/1.1" rear drop). Total was just about $200. Now I am changing the top hats, bearings, and dust boots/bump stops at the same time. As well as tie rods and end links for good measure. I have heard great things about Prokits keeping ride quality and actually improving the handling of the car while still making it driveable in most conditions/areas.

i have a guy that says he's changing his suspension soon from HFP to something that will allow him to be lower
hopefully he follows through.
how would you get your hands on an aspec rsx suspension?
and how would you install it, i would imagine it wouldnt be as easy as hfp..?
how much of a drop is it compared to hfp?

Re: Ep3 suspension upgade
I have heard about HFP and the aspec suspension choices. I hear they do their job really well for OEM, but would lets say one of my choices with bilsteins+custom springs be better or worse? I did track down 2002 Ep3 type R suspension...if that helps. Why would it be better going OEM in this case and not aftermarket?

and ride quality is important
so HFP keeps ride quality and drops it less than an inch
i hear a-spec rsx does the same
no idea how to install the aspec onto an ep
though those a-spec can be bought online easily i think....

Is the ride quality not good when spending a good penny on proper suspension? I thought with the Bilstein+custom spring, you can make the car handle very well yet be able to DD?
From my understanding suspension works like this (in ep3s)
Ride comfort
Slammed
Trackable (fun)
You can get 2 with sacrificing 1...So can I get a coilover system that has fun trackablility (oversteery) yet be confortable enough to take down a unpaved road?
Sort of like those rally cars you see people drive though dirt/gravel yet be able to take on pavement and still handle well can anyone say FWD gymkhana

Re: Ep3 suspension upgade
if someone can point me in the direction of a diy aspec install
i might install the aspec on my ep and i can tell you about how it rides
i've been waiting for a guy near me to change his suspensions from HFP to something else for a month now so i can buy it used...getting impatient now
plus if i can get a aspec brand new it'd be even better than going HFP used
im riding stock right now
i hear bilsteins ride quality is rough. don't quote me on it....

Handling / ride quality compared to stock etc ..
