Something has happened....Dum dum duh....Anyways, the problem that i've been having is that my car idles to high, well after the other day I was looking at it like i normally do just to see if i could figure something out with why it was acting so weird.
First off I forgot to add in the first post ( because I didnt really think that it would effect anything) that this car DOES have a Cruise control on it, meaning there are 2 cables. As I looked at them I noticed that the cable that the cruise control cable was not going all the way back. Because it was hitting the spring that springs the cable back so I gently took a pair of pliers and pushed the spring back to where it wasn't touching the meal piece attached to the cable, and now the car idles fine the car will idle at 1500 rpm on start up being cold and then drop to 500-600 ( its suppose to be 650-750 ). So I don't really know if that's really a problem.

My question now,
1.) Was I right for bending the spring.
2.) If anyone can post a picture of throttle body springs "with cruise control" just so I can see what they are suppose to look like.
~the springs I'm talking about are the ones that pull the cable back to idle position.

Just have someone press the gas pedal while you look under the hood at the throttle body. It will be plain as day to see the throttle body cable move.

Not sure what angle you want or need? 95 EX 4 cyl auto setup, the spring to the far left is the one for the cruise

Thank You poorman212 for the picture, I'm posting below some pictures I took And edited and will explain what I'm up against in depth.

Ok for the picture above the Red arrow above indicates part of the cruise control (this is the plate that was touching the spring, the spring did not let this piece return to its "resting state").
Blue arrow indicates part of the cruise control the piece farthest left on the throttle body, in other words the end of the cruise control cable.
Greenarrow indicates the spring that a bent so that the cruise control plate thing would not touch and go all the way back ( note the small green arrow that points semi-left is the entire spring and the longer somewhat bigger green arrows is the part i bent.

Below are some more pictures that you can take a look at.

Again I repeat that the red arrow indicates that part that would not return to its original position after the gas was pressed so I bent the Spring to let it go back. Below is a better picture of it (without arrows).

Well, I guess if everything's fine, other than the idle not being at the recommended 650 - 750, all you need to do is adjust the idle screw. Piece of cake!
