Re: 1986 civic hatch build
x2. The local pick a part just got in a minty 87 sedan, and it has the gauge cluster w/ the tach. I desperately need a tach in my 84 hatch! Can you tell us what's involved in swapping these? It can't be plug and play can it? Don't I need to run new wires for the tach?

This.
Pick up a brown top out of an 86-87 Integra and it'll more or less drop right in. Better yet find a complete car and transfer it all over. I currently have an 86 Si with a Brown Top motor in it and had an 87 Si with the same. The 87 had some nice stuff on it and was a lot of fun to drive. The cams that I had in it didn't allow it to have the greatest fuel milage though.
