Rods are not centered on wrist pins ...
I'm in the process of reassembling my pistons. I can't seem to get the rods centered on the wrist pins. Will this cause a problem or will the rod work its way back to the center after I put them back in the block. I'm using Wiseco pistons and wrist pins and OEM F23 rods. Thanks in advance.

No, remember you are bolting the big end onto the crankshaft rod journals, which will locate the rods along the axis of the pins. They are supposed to be like that. Once you put them in the block and bolt the caps on they will not move laterally.

Ok. Gotcha. The rods are really tight on the wrist pins, which is a good thing because that reduce piston slap, but what is the best way to get the rod centered on the wrist pin if I'm doing this at home without a press?

I might be wrong, but I dont think having pressed pins vs floating pins affects piston slap. either way the piston can still rock on the wrist pin. the length of the piston is what greatly affects if your going to have piston slap.
unless Im thinking of the wrong term... piston slap is where the piston can rock back and forth on the pin inside the cylinder right? what happens in a lot of the new sport atv's with the short slipper pistons?
