WRITE UP: Anatomy of an 88 CRX-HF Interior Fuse Box
I am helping my son with a resto-mod of a new (to us) 88 CRX-HF.
While planning the wiring, I thought it would be useful to reverse engineer the interior fusebox in order to see if there are any easy ways to get power without splicing into existing harnesses. I documented the fuse box.
There are several unused single pin connections on the fuse box. You can find single pin connectors that fit those on fuse box connections of junkyard 4 door Civic's. You can also find junkyard sunroof connectors if your car is not equipped with a sunroof.
This document makes it super easy to get power for your mods.
Let me know what you use it for, if you don't mind.
I posted the document here: http://accutach.com/Documents/88CRX-...xAnatomyR1.pdf

Nicely Done Mark!
You also have one of my favorite cars I love the white with tan interior. I would love to have an R someday to put next to my Dark Ivy Green Metallic 65 Fastback with 289-4V under the hood. I've had my 65 since high school.

That 4V 289 sounds nice. Makes me think of my 44K mile 66 Sunbeam Tiger. Not a 4V, though.
An R would be great. My Cobra has a KB blower on it, and I self tune it using SCT's Advantage. I had to put my Teksid Terminator project (currently porting the heads) on hold for my son's CRX project.
We're having a lot of fun with his new HF. Going with an 84mm Darton sleeved 94 B18C1 block, LS crank, forged internals, mild P&P B16A head, with plans for a turbo. I'll be tuning it with CROME.

fantastic!
I recently picked up a spare fuse box to do this exact same thing. Wish I would have came across this prior :-/
Thank you.

Holy...this is exactly what I have been looking for...
So I have this 89 Civic DX, and a few fuses are missing. Where do I find out the correct-amp fuses and where they go?
