My 1994 Teal Hatchback Build Thread
Ive been thinking about making a build thread on here for some time now. Im bored at work so i decided this may be the time to do it lol. Here it goes
Here is my 1994 Honda Civic CX Hatchback. I purchased it on October 2nd 2007 from a guy that attended Brown University. His Grandfather purchased the car from a Honda dealership back in his hometown in Oregon. Absolutly babied the car all his life. Garage kept, had all documents/receipts for everything he had done to the car since he owned it. Even oil changes receipts from 1995! He then gave it to his grandson who drove it from Oregon to Rhode Island. Thats when i purchased it.
Here are pics the first day i brought it home.Sorry for the poor quality pics. I think i took them with a Sidekick 3 or something.
A day or 2 later i ordered my Omni Power coilovers. A few days later i purchased some really clean 99-00 si wheels from a friend. Once the coilovers came in and i had some free time i installed the coilovers and wheels.
During the last couple of months in 2007 i know a lot of people who were getting their Hondas stolen not to far from where i live. I already had a alarm installed so i went ahead and got a NRG Quick Release w/ the NRG lock so i could sleep better at night. I also got a crackhead deal on a EG6 SiR cluster so i pick that up along with some OEM Mudd guards
Next after saving all my pennys for a few months i made my first big purchase for this car.
pretty clean motor.
Got my Exedy Oraganic Stage 1 Clutch and ACT 12.5 Pound flywheel.
New OEM T-belt,water pump and tentioner.
Just put in the new NGK plugs and wires, and started putting my wiring harness on
Started up on the first try.
After the swap i didnt do much for a while. Just picked up a OEM Hood bra from rhd-jon and got some EG6 SiR headlights & Corners from N1 concepts.
Later on around Fall of 2008 OEM style fogs for free lol
After rockin' my si wheels for such a long time i picked up some Mugen RNR's to start off 2009.
Random pic of the interior
Around Spring of 2009 i also picked up a OEM EX/SiR Lip and JDM thin side moldings and finally threw on my RNR's. Wasnt able to get some decent pics of my car untill the Summer time.
Fall of 2009 i made a bad choice and decided to take my car out to a party then to a bar where some ******* backed into my passenger side quarter panel and pushed it in. It sat in my driveway all winter.
During the winter i got some OEM bits and pieces that i was going to replace while the car was going to be resprayed. OEM Sidemarkers, Window moldings, rubber trims small things like that. I also picked up a Mugen steering wheel.
I brought it to the bodyshop in March 2010. The dude had it done about a week and a half later. Heres a pic the day i picked it up.
About a week later my new wheels came in!
Replaced the old fabric on the door panel inserts
Summer & Fall pics of 2010
Right now this is how the car sits (winter mode)
Thanks for taking the time to view my build thread. Hope you guys enjoyed it

The threads on the coilovers have a **** load of corrosion on them. I tried to adjust my ride hieght this summer and the collar was completely seized. I tried everything to crack them loose but they wouldnt budge.
As i was putting this thread together i said the same thing to myself. I was lucky to find this car bone stock and in great condition.
Thanks man

Nice pick up to start with! You can tell the car had been well maintained. B16a suits that car well. Lovin the white Regas with the teal. Good work man, keep it up.
