Default b16 Tuning question. TUNERS PLEASE LOOK.

So I have a 99 si here with following mods that i need help with.
gen1 b16 10.4 compression
hytech rep header
type r cams
type r intake mani w/hondata gasket
68mm tb port matched
high flow cat
yonaka 60mm exhuast
injen type r intake w/bpi velocity stack
aem fuel rail and adj. fpr set to 44psi with line on
obd1 conversion w/p28 chipped

So I put on the dyno the other night with the stock ecu and made 166whp. Then I swapped over to obd1 and chipped p28. Car made 168whp and basically overlayed the stock ecu, but it was choppy and idled rough. Anyways here is my questions. The guy who flashed it is gonna change the tune some for me. Car was around 13.0 afr across board and he told me timing was around 25 degrees. Anyways any suggestions for timing and where is it gonna like the fuel? Any help would be great. He is gonna flash it again tomorrow and see how it runs. I appreciate any input. CAr runs good just hoping to extract a few more hp out of it and get it to run better. Seems rich at pt also. I can smell unburnt fuel. If we cant get the tune close Ill have to put some form of tuning software on it I can tune myself. thanks again

he is hard to pin down. we went to dyno a few days ago but he couldnt make it. i posted the graph in another thread but just cant find any advice that really purtains to this build in the search. Any advice would be great. I think I read that 30 degrees timing is a good spot? CAr is on 91 octane.

every engine likes something differently. find a tuner that wont jerk you around.

What's your email addy? I'll send you a Basemap. Then use that as basis for tuning.

couple of issues besides the ones others posted...

factory OBD2 ecu is still in learning mode after you plug it in, for all you know each pass on the factory ecu would ahve kept going up more and more (plus its a faster processor than the OBD1 ecu)

13.0 is too rich, 13.5 range for a stock motor is decent

assuming you have at least 91 octane or better fuel, go out to 31 or 32 advance, the factory one goes out to at least 30 or so...

was the dyno chart able to hook up their sniffer to the dyno passes? that would help the offline tuner better adjust the map.

Alright so what we did for first map is use jdm b16 as a base.
Then raised fuel about 3% across board cause I was sitting at about 14.1 afr
Then we raised redline to 8600, upped vtec to 5600 and upped timing to 31 degrees max (I believe the map has 26 as a peak to start) Im gonna see how it runs and maybe get it back on the dyno later and see where it likes it.
