Power Window Issue 94 accord Lx
This topic is getting a little redundant, but I'm experiencing the same issues and would love some help.
My driver side window wouldn't go back up one day so I replaced the motor(short version of the story). Everything worked fine for a few weeks. One day, the window wouldn't go back up, but with a little effort and constant back and forth with the switch, I got the window to go back up. Then the other day, my wife was driving and rolled the window down and the window won't go back up anymore. So my question, yet similar to others, is different. With a brand new motor installed, what would the problem be with all the other windows(4 door car) still rolling up and down perfectly? I'm trying all options before replacing the switch(which I'm leaning towards being the solution) before I shell out the money I don't have on the part. Any tips and or help would be much appreciated.

When you say motor, are you referring to the whole motor/regulator assembly, or just the motor portion?
Also, is this an aftermarket part or Honda?
Either way, take off door panel, connect battery power to the motor connector and see if it is still the motor/regulator. Some aftermarket motor/regulator are not very good.

if you had tested the original motor, you probably would have found it to be okay. then you could have spent that money on a switch which it sounds like you need. Check out ebay. I saw one a new aftermarket master switch on there for about $65 the other day. much less than from Honda

I totally agree with you, but I just found a replacement switch and it didn't work either. Could it be the regulator? I don't get it though since the whole unit is brand new(motor and regulator).

Thanks very much, I will try this next.

PS: is there a place/video that shows how to apply battery power to the window? I know it sounds really dumb, but I don't know how. Thanks guys, really, I appreciate it.

See images. The second picture is how I test motors with a 12 volt battery, it is shown with a power lock actuator; but, same concept. Just about any 12 volt battery should do the trick. Switch the wires will move the motor in reverse.

I'm new to Hondas but not car issues like this. I was having similar issues with my window in my 240sx and i knoew the motor was fine since I had bought a new motor/regulator when the old regulator cable snapped and was tired of fixing it.
Anyways, it turned out to be the little window motor amp that was attached to the door. Maybe it's that. (Do accords even have them, is the better question)
