I'm not painting it right now, but trying to pick a color for when that time comes. It's tan right now, I hate it haha. And the hood and trunk are primered dark gray (I had rust on the hood, and decided to get this stupid ugly as hell wing and painted the trunk when I did that. I'm getting rid of that ugly piece of crap and patching the holes monday thank god I finally realized it lol)

The interior is tan too so I'm trying to consider what colors would work with that because I dont want to bother trying to redo the whole interior too.

Just curious if you guys had seen some colors that you really liked or didnt like.

Tangerine or sunset orange, midnight blue, black and some shade of green crossed my mind, but I dont want anything too flashy, which rules out almost any green haha.

I don't want every other guy in a tuner staring at me or stereotyping me because of the color of my car haha.

So thats why I'm thinking something really cool but not like HEY POLICE PULL ME OVER bright. Thats why I liked midnight blue, black or even white.

I'm eager to see what some of you on the forum have for ideas! :D

i bought my '94 accord ex in tan (truely a terrible color haha) and i repainted it millano red ( but added alittle black to darken it so it doesnt have the super bright affect) gotta say that, green is an ok color, but the worst would have to be sky blue or purple, i was at a import show and saw a sky blue and a purple accord, and both looked terrible like a ricer design

I got mine painted for 800, Saab midnight blue. It could have came out so much better for more money at a better place but I like it. Sadly this is the only pic.

well i went to a mayco and gotta cheap quote ($850 but they're not the best) so i had a custom paint shop that i found in Duluth,MN, and they did primer and rust proffing and thenn the paint and clear coat, so i spent around $1450 and around $1200 w/o the rust proffing

Just to give an idea - if you're honestly wanting it done correctly you're going to spend money. A $1500 paint job for a whole car is cheap, dirt cheap.

I am having my S2000 CR trunk and spoiler painted and just those two pieces are $700...that's without blending on the quarter panels.

For colors, just go through the Appearance and Cosmetic section and see what you like. Keep in mind if you go too far from the gold color your door jambs, engine bay, and trunk area will stick out like a sore thumb unless you have those painted as well.

1500 for a paint job is very good price if the paint shop offer good quality paints.....If you really want to do engine bay and the interior it is best if YOU remove most of the parts yourself then get it to the shop.......you would be totaling up around 3~4 grands if you let the shop to all the works...possibly more
