Swap ideas? What do think?
I just purchased a 95 DX coupe and thinking of going Built B18B LS Turbo/ GSR trans with the hopes of going LS/Vtec wit a B16B head or just a B16A Head with Civic type r cams, cam gears, etc. Decided to go wit the LS motor because some boys put a B20B/B16 J1 tranny in my old 93 Integra Integra LS Special and screwed the swap up! Idle was terrible and everytime it was in neutral just kept revving up on it's own and they couldn't fix it! Also heard the LS block stock can handle more psi boosted than the CRV block, which means I would have to sleeve it and I am to cheap for all that right now. Anybody have any other ideas on a setup that a broke dude like me could do??? Feel free to help me out!!

The B20/B18A/B are basicly the thing, if they screwed the swap up, it's not due to the engine choice, it's due to the lack of skill and/or stupidity.
The LS has been said to hold a little more Psi/power then a b20, due to the b20's thinner sleeeves. This is due to the fact it's a 2L.
How much HP are you aiming for? Keep in mind, PSI doesn't really mean much.
Also, what is your budget? And, keep in mind, if you do not search or at least try and help your self find some of this information out, many will not help you. Or atleast the amount of usefull info will be less. You NEED to search, this has been covered a million times.

The B20 does have thinner sleeves, but also being a larger diameter, it will have a larger surface area for the pressure to act on. And the wider pistons will have more of a tendency to rock.

You could always fix the current swap and rebuild the bottom and and make a beast n/a. 220whp and 160tq is pretty doable on a reasonable n/a build.
