Bought a 93 civic lx, bone stock. Had a burnt valve but didnt start when I bought it.
Put a new head on there, timing is dead on, has spark, all injectors are working, fuel pump etc. no check engine lights, but after trying to start a loud noise is coming from the IACV, im going to try to replace it in the morning but is there anything else that I am missing? All the grounds are good, all 3. all fuses are good. let me know what you think |

And also make sure the plug wires are installed in the correct firing order on the distributor cap.

that really sucks did you put the head gasket on correct? if you did a leakdown test you can know whats wrong instead of tearing it down and not knowing where its leaking

well when you pull it i would highly suggest a leak test with water or oil to see if there is possibly bent valves if its warped you would most likely be gettin oil or antifreeze in the combustion chamber or oil in antifreeze or vise versa
