Lugnuts for HX wheels
Guys,
I just picked up a set of HX wheels and sent them off to get powdercoated.
I would like to buy new lugnuts with some sort of plastic washer so I don't damage the powdercoating on the wheels when I go mount them.
Do they make such lugnuts? If yes, which ones would you recommend? Is there a name for these? I am not looking for anything fancy, just plain SS lugnuts with flat bottom and some sort of plastic washer would be perfect.
Thanks!

Re: Lugnuts for HX wheels
McGard Splinedrive nuts include a washer to help prevent scratching the wheel, but I don't think they come in the radius seat needed for OEM Honda wheels.

That's correct. And plastic washers won't work because they will deform; you need metal to hold the wheel into place. With Honda/Acura wheels, such as the HX wheels, you'll have to get metal lug nuts with the ball-shaped seating area, without washers. Just be careful when you take the wheels off.
