BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
Basically the title speaks for itself. BUILT not BOUGHT. This thread is for those who take pride in their car(s) from DAY ONE! Im talking about from BONE STOCK to present day with the work YOU did to it. Not someone who buys an already fixed up car and call it there own, when really all they are doing is taking credit for someone else work.
Anyone who wants to share your progress build with us feel free to post up some pictures and give us some details. Weather its a previous build, a current build, or a future build. Share with us what YOU have done, is doing, or going to do!
Real or fake, clean or fast it doesnt matter as long as your the one who put the work to get your car the way it is.

With that being said let me start it off with my car.
1990 Acura Integra Sedan LS (DB1)
Bought this car from a friend around march 2010 for $800 BONE STOCK with the original motor and a clean title. The car did not have any major body damage, minor dings nothing to serious. Paint job wasnt to bad for being the original paint. However for $800 of course it needed work. The car passed smog with flying colors and was registered and insured the same day.
I Replaced the radiator, axles, wiper motor, bumper lights, headlights right off the bat.
The car now has
-LS vtec but spun a rod so its now a B20 Vtec
-JDM one piece headlight
-OEM hood bra
-Had funtion form type 1 but now rolling on tokico whites w/ no name coilovers
-Rota zero plus 15x8 +10's (equip 01 replicas)
-blox LCA
-Nrg quick release with rally steering wheel
- ODB0 -OBD1 conversion
Plans for the car... New paint & Turbo

my wagon, from purchase, to recent
to
i bought it for $250, put a new front clip, rear doors, and hatch on her. lowered it, bought a z6 for it, ditched the z6, for a jdm y5. i plan on boosting the zc thats in it until it blows.

Db8mike; I had two sets. First one got stolen which I bought from racinglab in Hayward, and these I traded for a set of track r's I had. First set was 15x8 +20 these are 15x8 +10's.

Very nice build. How does the car ride with those suspension?
edit: man im on a roll... two tickets in one weeks... ****en bitch cop in campbell gave me a ticket for being toooo low.. ****en ***g.

i've got a jdm d16 to put in the wagon after the motor blows from boost. my suspension is just some no-name coilovers. front, there is no collar or sleeve, rear, just a sleeve flipped over, and 1 collar bottomed out. i'm planning on getting some ls meshies, and some gsr blades to switch out on the wagon.

On another note. I know there has only been two builds posted not counting mines but if this thing really gets big i really wanna get some stickers made possible shirts. what do you guys think? i know im thinking far ahead but it doesnt hurt to plan it out.

BuiltNotBought totally sounds cool. toobad im a car ***** and never stuck with one car. you may remember me, the kid from AK with a b16swapped ef sedan. it was around the time when you still had an EF sedan.

dont have a pic when i bought stock height but heres one when i dropped it couple weeks later
got a 92 front bumper from pick n pull cause old bumper was cracked and bought ebay turn signals
some progress since ive owned her.. nothing major jus little stuff to make it look clean..
then some motorwork jus no pics at the moment..
motorwise:
first:
bought with stock ls ended up with bad piston rings
then:
b20vtec with ls tranny.. bad oil pump
now: my new setup
lsv with rs piston (type r spec)
b16 tranny
which is going in soon
