North Idaho here.

I'm very involved with the Auto-X club (we also do the Rally-X, but they always get cancelled due to lack of participants). I just moved from Spokane, and when I lived there, I was at the track at least 3 days a week 4 months of the year for club racing, auto-x, hpde, ChumpCar, or what have you.

I'm not into the "street scene". I could care less. The weather is too crappy/roads too rough to be able to have a nice "street scene" rig. I have a beater CRX that I beat on the track.

Besides, beater cars are better at theft prevention, since Spokane is #4 on the list of worst cities for car thefts.

good luck, most import "enthusiasts" in this area are douche bags and think there pos civic or stock wrx is the bee's knees and most people's egos need a major reality check. but on that note there are a select few true enthusiasts...
