obd0 b16 dizzy question
Hey guys, quick couple question for you
im working on getting my boys car running, hes got a 91 hatch with an obd1 sirII b16a motor with cable ls trans. my questions are as follows. His car doesnt have a dizzy so I brought over my brand new obd1 dizzy, and stuck it on. Obviously, the dizzy won't plug in, the harness being obd0 and the dizzy I brought over being obd1. However, Im very handy and fimiliar with all the wires and pretty much everything. Anyway, I depinned his dizzy harness and matched it up to the obd1 dizzy. The car has spark, but won't turn on. Im using an obd0 PW0 ecu. Im guessing I can't use an obd1 dizzy on an obd0 ecu?
Also, he has an obd-0 dizzy, but it gets no spark. I've tried switching the coil and ignitor out and still got nothing. What coils and ignitors can I stick in the obd0 dizzy to get spark? Is the coil and the ignitor the only thing inside the dizzy to cause it not to have spark, aside from the rotor and cap, those are both good.

nope it wont read it. ( far as i know )
and you cant use an obd1 dizzy with and obd0 ecu. I have a P28 if you need one chipped with the b16 base map LMK!

Re: obd0 b16 dizzy question
im just saying.
and the ECu wont be able to read that dizzy no matter what you do. you're bet off getting an LS dizzy and cutting a Leg or just get the proper dizzy for that motor
