Icon5 Replacing all fuel lines. Some trouble with flare ends.

I am going to replace all the rusty 5/16 and 1/4 fuel lines, but don't have the bead tools for any of the ends. The Nappa, Autozone and Oreilys around here do not lend those tools out and i don't want to shell out $150 for a one time use thing.

I though up some creative things, but not sure if it'll work out. I am aware that the fuel pressure is usually only 40-60 lb and not as demanding as the brake lines. I already did my entire brake lines in CuNi last summer.

Do the 1/4 return and vapor lines require the bead ends or can i just slip it into the flexible tube and clamp it down?
For the 5/16 end that requires a quick disconnect tube stop, i want something that doesn't rust. I was wondering if one of these aluminum fittings would work. I would give the CuNi line a single flare and connect it with a 6AN Nut/Sleeve. Would that work?

Wish I could do mine myself. I had the shop order fuel lines for my '99. Seems like it's a somewhat common situation with these 20 year old or so cars. I had he brake lines done recently,

Good luck with your project.
