if your looking for hp k is not the way to go.if you want torque then k is for you..but for hp any other honda series engine will put out more power than k with just a bolt on ebay turbo..just keep doing what your thinking of more and more research..k20.org is probably where you need to be..goodluck..

A shitload...Check out www.car-part.com It will search all the salvage yards for any part you want for any car...and list them starting with the closest to your or the best price...

I can source a K24A2 swap, engine, trans, ecu, wiring harness for 1900 out of a 2006 TSX. If you do it yourself you'll save a ton of money. take your time and pay as little as possible for the parts.

g23 is gnna cost you 3k.....my boy build one already.....& drop it into a ef9 hb......but just build your d16 for boost or all motor...boost is alot cheaper you can slap a t25 out of a volvo or saab out of the junkyard hf manifold run 6-8psi your good for a while......

its gona run u anywer from 5-8k depending on wether u do it urself or tak it to a shop...in ur case ur better off getting a b-series and putting som money into it n it will make ur target 215wph no problem and you won't have to spend anywhere near what it cost for a k swap

you can build a g23 vtec for about 2k thats already including the parts... and you will have the top and bottom end that you will want... just look up that build and youll see how people compare it to a k swap

Shoping around is the best you can do, my friend's k swap was a tad over 10k, but its damn near brand new. Tsx block with 3k, and the rest from rsx with 5k on it.
Bought pretty much everything brand new. But he also bought a lot of things he didnt technicly need.

You can get a K-swap for $2000-5500 depending on if you look for them on craigslist or if you go to hmotors. The latter being the much safer route. Then you have to put it in. It's a lot more involved than a B-series swap...fab is required, gas tank has to be sourced, custom harness, etc, etc have to be acquired and installed..and that will cost a lot. I've seen figures as high as 8-10K to get a K-swap in an EG and running properly. Oh, and if you want 215whp, you'll have to throw money into it to get it there. Even the JDM Type-R K20A is 220whp at the crank, or about 187 whp.
In short, be prepared to spend a lot of money and time getting it right.

How much will a K Swap Cost?
There is no reason one would have to source a gas tank for a motor swap. Maybe a higher flowing pump, but even that's not mandatory.
