Default Broken leg crew

ugh, first track day didn't end well. Racing at Summit Point on the kart track with some other supermoto guys. Lowsided and instead of just going with it, I tried to catch it with unfavorable results.

Full gear. Arai vx-pro helmet, alpinestars tz-1 jacket zipped to A10 pants. Some older joe rocket gauntlet gloves, a* tech 8 mx boots. Sometimes **** just happens. The amberlamps lady said it would have been much, much worse without the mx boots. (saw some guys out with road race boots )

Bike damage

Skateboard wheel slider did its thing

Me damage, its really not that bad, but I'll link it anyway. They put a rod(large cut) and 2 screws(small cuts) in my tibia and just set the fibula back in place. No cast for now.

I have yet to see any pics/video of me out on the track but here is a video from someone else's helmet cam to show how the track was setup. I ate it in turn 2.

did your leg get whipped into the ground, or did you try and stand up when moving by planting your foot?

I tried to put my foot out and catch it/push it back up as if I was on the dirt section of the track. In hindsight, if I had just kept my foot on the peg and went down with it, I probably would have just got back up and kept on going.
