MAP sensor code - reads lean fuel and codes thrown misfire on cylinders 1, 2 & 4
Hey all,
I need some help, I have a 1998 Civic EX. Yesterday it started running really rough. Went to O'Reilly Auto for a code scan and it showed the MAP sensor reading lean on fuel and cylinder misfire on 1, 2, and 4. History on the car itself: It currently has 285,500 miles, motor was replaced with a reman from Kar-King in California at about 230,000 miles. When the reman was installed I had both O2 sensors replaced and the fuel filter replaced. The cylinder head gasket started leaking on the motor, had to have the cylinder head shaved, new head gasket and ARP studs installed. Today I replaced the distributor cap and rotor as well as the MAP sensor. No change, motor still running horribly rough.
What do you all recommend? This falls at a bad time, no mechanic shops in my area will be back open until Wednesday, July 5th.

MAP sensor can be checked with a voltmeter. Also check that the o-ring around the sensor port is in place and the vacuum passage from the sensor to the manifold is clear.
