Icon6 Starter Fluid in 94 Accord

Google has not helped me so I come to you guys for an answer (I apologize in advance if I ask dumb questions, I'll own up to the fact that I don't know too much about cars).

Let me start at the beginning: back in December my 1994 Honda Accord stopped starting for me, I didn't have the time or patience to deal with it and let it sit until the end of April when warm weather came around. It got towed to the shop, they found 'nothing' wrong with it & sprayed some engine starter and sent it home with me. Claimed I had just flooded it (even though on the phone a guy from the shop said I possibly needed new spark plugs). I drove it minimally for the next 2 days, planned to get an oil change first thing Monday morning. Sunday night rolls around and we have a frost warning, the temperature dips down to 30 degrees and there goes the car - at first it had a hard time starting and the fan stopped working (which was the warning I got last time it died like this). I turned the car off knowing full well when I turned the key again it wasn't going to start. And it didn't.

So now here's my main question, I bought a can of Starter Spray which is what the guys in the shop used to get it going - but I have no idea where to spray it. Obviously in the air intake, but I was reading that spraying it in the wrong place or spraying too much may damage the engine. If you guys could point me in the right direction that would be so appreciated.

You spray it in the intake. That long black tube on the left of the engine bay.

But I would strongly advise against it. Why not just get the problem fixed? Do a tune up and see how that works. Battery ok? Any check engine lights?

Yeah get your problem fixed instead, here a few list of the most common things that might keep it from starting: Main Relay going bad, Bad ignition coil, igniter, and fuel pump going bad. Have them check and replace if necessary.
