Alright I have an issue with the Accord again. The car will drive fine when its cold but after long drives and warm weather the RPM would rev up as if the clutch was slipping. I swapped out for a new clutch and the stupid thing still did the same thing. So this past weekend I replaced the flywheel since the clutch was pretty much brand new. It still does the same shyt but it does not occur as much anymore. What can it be? Clutch pedal holds pressure good, shifts like butter but like I said the RPM gauge will rev up like the clutch is slipping but it makes no sense, since both the flywheel and clutch/ pressure plate are brand new. Any ideas? Any info would be great, if it was my car it would have been sold already LOL

FYI there is no oil leaking anywhere. None on the inner side of the transmission. I checked the main crank seal and its dry so just incase yall think it is; its not.

you need to post more info. does it do this from a stop? or on the highway? will it do it if you ease on the throttle?

how often do you sit at a light with the clutch pressed in?

either way, assuming theres no grease on the PP flywheel etc, sounds like the throw out bearing isnt being released properly, did you replace that with the new PP? if its not that then the slave cylinder that moved the clutch fork is probably worn. hows the clutch fluid?

Slave cylinder and master cylinder are two months old. It only happens when driving, and randomly. There is no grease on the PP, throwout bearing is new with the clutch.

02 accord

Misadjusted clutch pedal? How much free play do you have? Also, bleed the clutch line. This sounds exactly like the symptoms I had. Everything was fine when cold, but once warmed up, all my free play went away (air in the line expanded).

What do you mean free play? The clutch pedal? The pedal is firm like always. So there could just be air in the hydro lines correct?

Free play is how much the clutch pedal moves down before you start feeling the pressure from the pressure plate (that was redundant, wasn't it? Lol). If that free play decreases once warmed up, it's most likely air in the line.

Thats what I thought but then again the clutch has the same amount of pressure even when the car is acting up. So I guess more bleeding will be done to eliminate something. Thanks for the input
