Brake Hard Line Replacement
I have recently experienced a severe leak in brake fluid under the cabin of my '96 civic dx. All of the brake hard lines look like junk, so there is really no doubt that the ones going under the car to the rear brakes need replaced. I have almost zero experience with brake systems and was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction with a parts list/procedure write-up for replacing these lines. Even a general direction of where to look online would be a great and much appreciated help.

Here is a link. Not sure of your model but heres the lines for a 96 dx w/ac and no abs for sale.
Honda Automotive Parts
Or you could buy the line from summit, a line bender, a flare tool, and fittings and make your own. But if you have no use for the tools in the future might be better to just buy them complete

If it's anything like the EG which it looks to be, you'll need to remove the front subframe to install the lines... it's a big job so make sure that is your problem before you proceed.

It's a 96 dx with a b18c1 swap. No AC, no Power Steering, no abs.
Also, your link leads to nowhere, so if you could repost it that would be much appreciated.

there are awesome products out there for making your own line such as cunifer from federal hill. Federal Hill Trading Co.
however, this is a difficult job to get it right. if you have no experience you'll just make a mess of it. perhaps try with some autozone or advance auto parts line and harbor freight tube bender, see how you like it. flare tool makes a big difference, get a good one like OTC or mastercool or rigid brand if you can't afford mac, matco, or snap on.
or you can buy premade from honda, but the job is still pretty tricky. most shops just get it close and they don't worry about making the routing original. it takes them like 1/2 hour to do a line.

oh yeah, it's nice to have a tubing straightener too. mad expensive for what it does, but there is a way to make your own with some rollers and a vice.
if you buy store line (pre-flared with fittings, but set lengths), just make sure you have the correct type of flare (double vs bubble), size (3/16), and right fittings (M10x1.0 IIRC).
Take a peek at this thead too:

Re: Brake Hard Line Replacement
Got a decent offer for the car before I got around to fixing the lines. Made sure the buyer knew about all of the issues with the car before he bought it.
Car is sold. Problem solved.
