Is there a difference in the d17a1 injectors and the d17a2 injectors. I did a vtec swap on my 01 civic and did the complete swap with the ex ecu and ex wiring harness and so forth. I finally got everything working the way it's suppose to yesterday and when i was leaving the shop I noticed my injectors were ticking extremely louder than normal. I know its not the valves ticking because I had just finished adjusting all of them so i'm just trying to figure out if the A1 and A2 injectors are different cc's which would cause my A1 injectors to work a lot harder now and probably cause them to be louder.

Any ideas?

No.. they are the same. It is more than likely just the valve train. Even with the valves all properly adjusted, the vtec valve train is just noisier than the non-vtec.
