Default Help with EG and rims

Yo guys ... I recently bought an all stock 93 eg in near perfect condition ( internally ). You can't really see how bad the paint was wearing in this picture...but this is what it originally was. . First thing I did was save up.. and I got a paint job. By the way the hubcaps are a joke don't worry ahaha - Here's the car now . Before I do any internal mods to the car I need new wheels! Desperately ... only thing is that I'm on a limited budget. Most of my friends have recommended things like rota and what not but I figured all of you guys could direct me to the best place. Take into consideration what you think would look nice on the car. I might just keep 13"s .... lol. Thanks a lot!

Check out craigslist. You can find good deals on OEM wheels (GSR, Si, LS, HX) and sometimes aftermarket ones. Rotas are nice and light and also fairly cheap. The style is pretty much up to you, look around the visual section and see what you like on similar cars. Tons of people get rota slip streams and gt3s.

15" is recommended, you can go as high as 16".

I would probably go with 15s. That's what I have and I like them.

True ... hmm now I know absolutely nothing about suspension griff . If I get a like 1.75 " lowering kit will it look good on my eg and will that (1.75) exceed the length I've got till I need to get new shocks and all that stuff

I would just pick up some lowering springs. 1.75 would be pretty much. I wouldn't go above 2 inches to daily drive. Check out tein s techs. I have them, it's about a 1.5 inch drop, they're pretty cheap and you can use them with your stock shocks. I'm about to buy new shocks though. You'll probably want some higher performance ones down the line.

Oh snap I could use the 1.5's with my stock shocks for now ? I might buy new shocks come mid summer time when I have a LOT more money to throw into the car but you think I'd be fine till then ?

Yes, if you get something like s techs you'd definitely be fine until then.

It's noticeable, not extreme.
