Pictures look great! Love the staggered setup.
Any plans on doing a different front lip and sides/rear to match the spoiler?

Front lip is here to stay. OEM sides in the near future as soon as an SSM set pops up, and way in the distant future a CTR rear bumper/lip combo

That will look good for sure.
I saw a white EP3 the other day with the full HFP kit, the HFP wheels and completely stock. Made me want one real bad.

Here we go!
Since the EP3 comes with a less then desireable electronic power steering that has a bit of a numb feel and doesnt self center very well, I decided to retrofit a hydraulic setup from an 05-06 DC5.
I chose the 05-06 system over the earlier model because it came with a shorter ratio, lighter assist, and an anti-kickback valve for reduced bump steer. I beleive this system has the same specs as the JDM DC5R
So I picked up this setup with 14k miles. Included was the rack, pump and high pressure line. The rest of the parts like mounts, hardware, and resivoir are on the way aswell
.
.
The whole this is pretty damn mint except for the driver side body which im going to freshen up. Ill also have all the hardware plated before assembly
I started by popping the bushings out and removing the hard lines and input shaft:

Re: SHG is back! Easy's EP3 goes under the knife...
So recently i wanted to go to a more subtle exhaust than my catback i had on, and also needed to replace a cracked ching chong ebay header. I was having a hard time finding a good setup, then i remembered your exhaust setup.
Now, thanks to your thread, i went with a RSX-S Exhaust mani, catless DP, RSX-S b pipe and Oem ep3 axleback. Wow, it went on like a dream. Got the setup dyno'd today and put down 157whp (only other mod is an AEM intake).
Long story short, thanks for this thread! Kudos Easy!

Long time reader, first time poster . Nice steering setup, I haven't ever driven an EP3 but the DC5 steering isn't too bad. Were you at all tempted to go for an electro-hydraulic setup?

Ive learned to keep it simple. Id rather put together a mint oem setup for under $200 and have oem reliability and function than try to piece together something else. I dont mind the power loss either, just looking for a pleasurable driving feel
