Looks like a pretty crazy build, but judging by that wheel/tire setup the guy doesnt know much about car setup, and Im gonna go out on a limb and say that car is going to be used for more show than go

Havent worked on it in a few days. Ive been pretty busy with other stuff the last week or so. Im hoping to work on it a bit tomorrow. Next step is to build up those edges with some more fiberglass - not looking forward to that lol.

Awesome stuff, you have some incredible patience!
How is the POR 15 holding up? Wanna get under my car and start cleaning up and painting on the POR....just need to make sure it is worth the trouble/expense.
Keep it up!

Only thing is the grey has discolored a little from the UV light, but its just a few shades different than before. It hasnt seemed to change at all since last year

She would love to do a 2zz if the car stays a street car, but if way down the line we end up turning it into a track car it will likely get a K20.

Re: SHG is back! Easy's EP3 goes under the knife...
More progress on the wing fellas! Nearing the end of the super labor intensive work on this thing - I hope!
Got the blade sanded and evened out on lunch the other day. After some close inspection and a little sanding it was obvious that the trailing edge of the blade was totally uneven. Turns out for whatever reason all the high spots were filler, so I just kept working it down until it was symmetrical. A coat of primer will show where the edge still needs evening out. I also blocked the ends where the mounting plates bolt up since they were completely wavy and uneven. After the blocking on the wing and blade it should be a nice slip fit together instead of having to cram it in like before (hence the mutilated mounting surfaces). Layed some filler today after work aswell...
.
.
Then when I got home I got to work on building up those weak rounded corners with fiberglass. Started by contouring and taping some aluminum to the wing to serve as a base for the glass. Resin doesnt stick to the metal so Ill be able to pop those off later. Next I coated the area with resin and started laying small pieces of glass to the area wetting out each one with resin. I built it up more than needed to make sure i have plenty of material to work with to get the shape I need. Tomorrow when it's cured I'll have to flip it over and add some more mat and resin to the top side.
