Started my SHG RS door pulls tonight... Just a mock up for now but Ive come up with a design and a few things are gonna need to be modified and fabbed.

Loving how this looks though!

I was going to do pull down but it would take alot of cutting which is a problem since that handle pocket is part of the door panel, its not removable. So Im doing it this way so I can easily go back to stock if I decide to. Plus after mocking it up it just looks so good and flows really well.

Yeah I agree, def looks better this way. Is it also going to get the chiquita stiching?

This reminds me how most people who ride in the EG always have a hard time finding the handle, both inside and outside haha. Especially if its dark out.

T is gonna do it for me, her mom has a nice sewing machine. Mines not gonna have the stitching along the edges like mikes, since Im using different strap fabric thats thicker Im not doubling it up. So I just have to stitch it at the end where the loop comes together.

No I doubt it. The way its going to be sewn and how its coming through the door it should stay nice and flat.

i dont understand.... dont be harsh.... why use nylon as a door handle... is this so you can get out quicker if theres trouble? Or is it to pull off the door panel? Sorry I just never saw anything like this before... as for clean, IDK just kinda looks like nylon hanging out your door LMFAO

Thanks for the comments guys... The straps are actually a design Mike and I came up with based off the GT3RS door pulls. They replace the door handles, so instead of pulling the handle you pull the loop.

I did it purely for looks and cool factor, plus it gives the car that circuit look

Haha wasn't really going for clean look just clean execution of the idea.

I finished one of the brackets for the driver side but no official updates till next week. Mike and I are leaving for daytona today for grand am testing
