All the parts pictured came off the Civic... The hubs are spray painted. Paint or powder the material wouldn't melt it would just burn up and flake off. The center of the rotor doesn't get hot enough to do so though, at least not in my application.

Try some Sonax wheel cleaner. It will dissolve all the brake dust in no time.

Have had white wheels in the past, never again! Wheel cleaning aside, I feel they only work on white and black cars

Nice details as usual though

Don't worry guys this thread will never die!!!

I've been retarded busy lately... Just got back from a 3 week trip supporting cars at an event at WGI then hit the road to mid Ohio, prepped cars in between and just got back yesterday. Then I'm leaving tomorrow for Montreal for 5 days for the Canadian Grand Prix

I'm signed up for an SCDA event at Watkins Glen for July 8th so there are a number of things I'd like to get done on the car in preparation. Updates will start coming in in a week or so.

Something else keeping me nice and busy is my wrecked CRV

I rear ended someone on my way to work the day we left for the trip so I've been dealing with insurance and setting up a buy back since they claimed it a total loss. I've already got most of the parts to repair it so as soon as I get it back ill start cracking on that aswell

It's coming back and will be better than before the crash so no need to mourn

I didn't even get a chance to take a photo... I wrecked, made the insurance claim while waiting for police to show up, once that was done I hopped in it and drove the rest of the way to work all smashed up (drove fine other than a thrown power steering belt) and hit the road for the track. Ill post full progress of the repairs in here once I get her back... Even the insurance adjuster I've been working with commented on how clean the car is, that's why I just couldn't bear to see it go to the scrap yard

This thing is always looking proper man. The new wheels have to grow on me still, but I think they're definitely different! Going to take quite a few ideas from you once I make it back stateside.

I just saw y'all had some nice t-shirts and such too. Just ordered one and I'm pretty sure I'll be the only one rocking one in Afghanistan haha.

Good stuff as always man.

Haha yeah, wasnt the ride harshness that was a problem, but the noise which I guess could also be considered harshness

.

In light of searching for a set of adjustable end links for the EP3 and DC5 project, I came across these EV0-R parts... Originally for RX8 rear sway bars, they were the perfect design but sadly discontinued. The only other option for this design I could find anywhere were Whiteline's offering which were nice but very pricey, and not as visually appealing...

After some conversation we were able to set up another production run with the manufacturer, making them available for one last time! Im having a set of four turnbuckle style end links made for the Civic and race car, but they will fit any DC5, EP3, EM1, EG/EK/DC rear, etc. I want to extend the opportunity to any of you guys to jump on the chance to get a set. If I reach a certain order size, the price obviously drops. So shoot me a PM for more info

The great part about these and why I was so focused in my search is the sealed ball and cup style joints like the factory part, which makes for silent operation and long life when compared to open Heim style joints. Then there is the full turnbuckle style construction which allows for quick and easy length adjustment to neutralize sway bars when corner weighing and making setup changes.

Look sweet. Wish I could find something cheaper than the OEM front Integra sway bar end links, which are nearly $100 for a pair of new ones. But they only have a ball joint on one end, and a threaded/bolted connection on the other end.

Yeah, it's a really dated inferior design on the older cars, and no one makes adjustable parts for them either. In light of that Mike and I are going to be working on some weld on or possibly bolt on endlink mounts for the front LCA's so you can run the newer style endlinks

would these come in at a price point similar to the Corsport designed ones E? if so i'm interested.. and BTW, that JDM front is pretty much a go for me :-)

which means i better start designing a build thread.. the car is slowly getting to where i feel it's worthy of one

Busy as usual but I managed to find some time to spend with the Civic today!

First off, Im super excited to FINALLY be signed up for a track event... My GF Theresa and I will be doing the Watkins Glen International SCDA event July 8th in the Civic, so there are a few things I want to have done in time for hitting the track

Some of you may recall a post from way back last year about a suprise mystery package and next thing I knew it was put on the back burner until now...

.

.

It's an ASR 32mm hollow bar and brace setup, and now that we have a track event on the horizon I thought it was a fitting time to install it.

Part of the reason I hadnt installed it earlier is because the axle back section of the exhaust needs to be modified to clear it. So I hit the shop today to get cracking!

Here are some before photos of how the exhaust sits, Ill be changing the fitment slightly since it sticks out a bit too much for my liking and its also not centered in the exhaust relief in the CTR lip...

.

.

The fist step was to fit the brace and bar. In order to do so you need to shave down the seam sealer so the brace can sit flush against the subframe... You can also see here I masked off the surrounding area to respray the whole subframe but forgot to take a picture after I painted it

.

.

After the bar was fitted I could start working on building the new piping... I used the Buddy Club slip joint and the first bend, then built off of that.

Here is the first section tacked in:

.

.

And the second section tacked in:

.

.

Third and final section tacked in and the muffler also tacked in place... As you can see clearances are tight, but Ive got enough room between the chassis, brace, and blade that theres no contact when I tugged on the exhaust

.

.

Then I popped out the new axle back section for welding

.

.

All welded up!

.

.

And here it is all said and done! Such a sick setup, I cant wait to see how she moves on the track
