Default Function & Form Type 2 Feedback?

I'm looking to buy a set of F&F Type 2 but wanted to get some feedback on them before I make up my mind. Any positive/negative feedback would be great. Please only give me your opinion if you have previously or are currently running this setup. Thanks.

I had the type 1's before. NOT EVER A PROBLEM.
I loved them really.
But, to that thread STOCK SOHC posted, I'm pretty sure there's a one in a million chance in that happening. But, if you wanna take that risk, it's all up to ya.

If you plan on hardparking and not really tracking the car, go for it. They're cheap and will suit a streetcar just fine. If you want quality parts that will last and actually perform, avoid these like the clap.

First time I heard or seen anything like this. But if Weksos and F&F are willing to take care of it, I don't really see a problem.

I agree with you. I think this was one of those "one in a million" possibilities of getting a defective set. Don't really see a risk because I think it could possibly happen with any set of coilovers I go with.

Yea, I should have mentioned that earlier. I looking for a nice suspension set-up that will lncrease handling without sacrificing any to little ride comfortability and at least give me my money's worth by lasting a few years for daily driving. I do not autocross, track, etc.

If a company can't quality control their own products before it ships that should tell you a little something about them. Not my car so, their the best why even ask for opinions?

^Wow, that's pretty true. I'm kinda open ended about this topic now. Haha.

BUT, from my experience w/ them, it was pleasant.

I agree with you that every company should always maintain an acceptable level of quality control over the products which they sell but even the best companies run into defective parts every now and then. If products are being mass-produced in large quantities such as F&F are, monitoring and inspecting every single item before it is shipped would take too much time and would eventually lead, if not already, to a drastic loss in productivity and revenue. If F&F were releasing and selling defective parts at a high rate and not taking care of the issue, then yes, that would raise questions. But again, this is the first time I, myself, have ever heard or seen anything like this from them and the fact that both companies that sold the coilovers were willing to take care of the issue speaks volumes about the company's customer care and willingness to correct the issue/problem so that they may avoid future defects as these.
To answer your question, I'm asking for opinions because I would like to know what people's input who have had personal experiences with these coilovers. I am considering a set Type 2's and want to know what people have to say about them before I possibly buy them. Thanks.

It would be better to ask in the fuction form thread in the Honda/Acura picture section.

Yea, from what I've read, they're not built for extreme driving i.e. autocross, circuit, etc. They were designed for more daily driving with the occasional track runs here and there. (At least, that's what F&F said)

I'm not sure I know what you're talking about. I checked the Honda/Acura section but didn't see anything.

Have to search, I was the last poster in there about a month ago.
Search "Function Form" and select Honda/Acura not the entire forum.

I guess the biggest doubt with the F&F is that I'm debating them against getting Koni Yellows/Ground Control lol. Going with Koni/GC is a bit pricier, but I know this is a proven, quality set-up. But how can I say no to free LCA's if I go with the Type 2 lol.
