93 civic ex clutch switch

Can anyone tell me if ther is a clutch switch for the hond civic ex and if so where. We just got a wrecked civic ex and the clutch was pushed up and can't be put down far enough down for the car to start We couldn't find a switch to bypass it tho

Yes, there is a clutch interlock switch. It will be a switch around the clutch pedal area with 2 wires going to it. There is also a cruise control switch on the clutch. I can't remember if the clutch interlock is above or below the cruise. To temporaily bypass it. You can unplug the connector going to the switch and jump the terminals on the plug with a piece of wire.
