Default New Accord wheels/tires

Hello:

I have a new 2009 Accord LX. I want to get a second set of wheels with winter tires. I am confused by the Honda TPMS, hope someone can advise.

What are the consequences of buying and installing the second wheel/tire set without TPMS? After 46 years of driving without TPMS, I do not care if I have TPMS functionality, as long as the TPMS doesn't interfere with other functionality of the car.

TIA

you should be fine...your just gonna have a check tire pressure light on.. also im sure you could get a dealership to delete the code to get rid of it...
