tire size help for 14" wheels!
So I have a 88 dx ef hatch, with 14 inch oem del sol fat fives. Time for new tires, so I needed help with tire size. I'm currently using 195/60r14, but I wanted to run 205's not sure if 205/55r14 will be good, but can someone give me some suggestion, if u have any pics of 14 inch wheels on an ef it would be great if you could post. Thanks

Re: tire size help for 14" wheels!
For a CRX, del sol, del sol Si, or pre-'96 Civic, the following sizes are usually best:
13" - 175/70-13
14" - 185/60-14, 195/55-14
15" - 195/50-15
16" - 205/40-16, 195/45-16
13" - 175/70-13
14" - 185/60-14, 195/55-14
15" - 195/50-15
16" - 205/40-16, 195/45-16

Yup.
What makes you think you want 205? What matters to performance is how sticky the tire is, not how wide it is. The stickiest street tire you can get that fits your car is the Falken Azenis RT-615, which comes in 195/60-14. No street tire is available in a 205 size that will give you as much grip as the Azenis in 195.
