Beutiful Si, you have definetly started off on the right foot, just a few things. I know that's the Si replica lip, and looks like you might not have spent enough time making it perfect, when you look carefully it's not parallel to the ground, it somewhat points up. Another thing, since you have moulded on the rear 96-98 lip on your 99 bumper, maybe you should also mold on the front lip to your bumper? Just so it somewhat goes with the flow, i am not sure of it myself, but then the sideskirts should be moulded on. This is just an idea, i personally would be scared to do it but it's just to keep the brain storming. Other than that, car is beautiful. BTW you must get no side support from those seats AT ALL!!!

Re: New member, here is my 99 Civic Si *>56k* (1.8 HB)
thanks man, i actually gave the body shop the green light to mold the front lip also but backed out at the very last minute. the reason was to keep the option of swapping to a different lip open in the future if i get bored with the style of this lip. another reason was if the lip gets banged up, i can take it off, have it replaced, or even just have it re-painted instead of redoing the whole front bumper. the front lip was recently ruined by the way because a blown out tire on the freeway flew up and smacked it. i always wondered how it would exactly turn out with it molded on. i won't get to see it, but i just know it would look great.
i agree these stock seats sucks major ***. hopefully, i'll have enough left over after some other mods to pick up some black SRD's by next summer. i've always wanted to upgrade seats after driving some celicas. they have awesome factory seats with nice support and low seating position.

I know exactly what you are talking about with the new Celica seats, you should try buying a set and putting them in your car. It's not difficult to make custom brackets. I say buy a cheap welder ($150), learn to weld (1 hour) and make a custom support and weld up your Si seat sliders to the support attached to the Celica seats. Sounds hard, but it's not. If you are patient enough and willing to be original then give it a shot. Those Celica seats are mint. I have done something like this in my civic just as a project, but now i just have integra seats because my old seats were falling appart, not the actual support/sliders that i built but seat itself was very old and was rotting away from the inside. Also you can return the welder after you are done hassle free, i ended up keeping mine because it comes in handy. I put in my own exhaust/muffler later down the road Good luck.

Your ride looks awesome dude. I noticed in some of the pics it looks like your grill is a diff color from the rest of your ride. Is it just the angle of the pics or sunlight?

absolutly perfect, except it's not milano red . But really, it's sooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful
Mad props!!!!!!!!!!!!! *right click, saving picture* Now I now exactly what direction I want to go in with my si.
One more time, I think its absolutly gorgeous
I have also always wanted to replace my mirrors, but never did because I know the ctr mirrors were RHD and wouldn't function properly, but your replicas look perfect, where did you get them, and how much did it cost to have them painted??
