I have a 94 accord with a similar problem, I tried the first gear thing you mentioned, it didnt budge.

It started when i was driving then just stoped going into gears, any of um, there was a feint burning smell. Car will not start without pushing in the clutch.
Have recently replaced the master cylinder, forgot if i changed the slave too, but not sure how to check if the slave is working solo. Clutch peddal still has good pressure, but can shift into any gear without using it!

If you can shift into gear without using clutch, "Clutch peddal still has good pressure, but can shift into any gear without using it" then clutch is not engauging , it is staying disengauged, so either it is burnt out, "here was a feint burning smell" or you need to make an adjustment.

Check and see if slave cylinder push rod is moving when clutch is stepped on or holding clutch release lever from moving backall the way? 94

you can use the pedal stop harware. The bolt we send you will aid you with your issue or you can modify your pedal assembly to assist you in that area.

This is our EF kit but it will work the same with your DA

The top bolt is your stop and conversion mount

The extention of that bolt will pass through the NSS boss and will stop the clutch arm from over engaging

If the stop is not long enough and you need more adjustment you can add a secondary with little modifaction

Remove the rubber stop from the clutch arm

Add in a secondary stop. This will remain stationary and adjust the mount bolt out to your desire

Hi all,

I have the same problem, however apart from this whenever the engine is off, the clutch pedal is very very hard to press... any idea?

with regards to the clutch problems ,for me the fork assembly was not pushing the clutch in far enough to engage the clutch. Are there any fixes for this problem?

All the other symptoms are the same as the poster.

When the engine is off, the gears go in, but when the engine is on, only grinds.
whenever i start the engine with the clutch pedal pressed all the way and gear on 1st, the car moves forward.
I changed the clutch kit already together with the flywheel, also changed the master and slave cylinder.

Please help is possible been trying to fix this issue for over 4 months

Feel free to email me on nickzamm@hotmail.com

Thanks & Regards,
Nick
