ok my check engine light and im leaking a lil oil like a half a quart every 2days and i have a miss in cylinders 2 and 4 any idea what would cause this?? im thinking valve seals but what else would make this happen and is it a serious problem?? my car is a 2000ex coupe 233k miles thanks!

did u pull your plugs and see what they look like?

if they are coated in oil or there is oil in there then its probably the valve cover gasket... and in that case you might as well just get new plugs, wires, and the gasket

thanks ill check that out, and the thing at autozone said 1 of the misfires could be an ignition problem. and if i let my car sit with lights on or something for a couple min. after the cars off its hesitent to start would that just mean i need a new battery??
