Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
as far as updates installed an Integra cluster, and maintained the EG plugs so i could reinstall the old cluster if i choose. I take it to friday nite drags and i need a tach, had the 5 inch tach in another car, and i prefer a more seamless look.

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
i have to trim the cluster up a bit and fit some fiberglass or sheet metal shroud.
Currently, IM pulling Code 1, 21, and 43. Code 1 and 43 are new as of saturday.
It has a broken Vtec pressure switch, hence code 21.

Okay.. I'm redoing what you just did.. Have a full underdash harness on its way(stock) so I can run an oem EG cluster. Why, why, does anyone want an integra cluster in their eg? I hope you can tell me because as you stated, it obviously does not fit, and two, there are some dope *** eg clusters out there, even white faced.. so why mod your car for something that gives no benefit and does not fit?

best bet is you fix your hack job in your personal car. i can always slap my original cluster in and be fine with it (imagine that, no more wiring necessary). i just do not like the EG cluster, 1 due to the size of the tach, 2 the size of the coolant and gas gauge in SI and EX models in the U.S. (SIr models elsewhere included, even if they do have "dope" looking gauges) are too small. prefer the range of a dx or cx.

Okay, I wasn't trying to come off as much as a dick as I sounded(I re-read my post after yours). Mines just a massive headache because the one thing I am absolutely not not good at, is what you obviously are because you go from a handful off wires to a perfect working cluster so I applaud you. I understand its your car and YOU are going to do what YOU want to do to it. I just cannot stand what my car is stuck with and better yet what I'm cleaning up, or attempting to. Again, didn't mean to rail you over the cluster and I understand the cutting of the bezel because I was thinking about that also but the cluster really does not work that well so I'm just going back to stock.. good luck.

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
there are a lot of people who troll the forums. and a verry minute amount are willing to appologize. Just set aside your irritation, and ask the questions the best whay possible. separate the users who have a good knoledge base from those who simply read others post. you can learn a lot that way. while you are waiting on your cluster harness, try clipping the wires and reinstalling them. i soldered and heat shrank all of my connections. it was cheap heat shrink as i am usually broke, ad it was in my electrical bag.
wiring is not a bad topic. as far as the cluster goes, i used a readily available source. i archive any good sources. it is soo much easier to find in say, an organized photobucket, versus on multiple computers in folders that move themselves.

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
Yeah, I hear ya. I drink a lot at night too so I can only imagine I come off as an ******* a little bit easier than pre 10 pm... Also, if my dash was done RIGHT, like yours, I wouldn't hate it because it didnt fit. I hate mine because only rpm/speed/fuel are the only ones that work...
I honestly can read that and comprehend it... but it is still so foreign to me. You obviously can follow that backwards right? Like for my situation where I have an integra harness throughout, but I'm trying to wire my civic under-dash...? Here's my link... https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/b18swap-94eg-have-underdash-questions-2954709/

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
integra dash harness in a civic is a nite mare. most everythin is power, there are soo many other things running through the harness as wellaside from the normal clock, radio, ect. i can take a look at the integra dsh harness, as i just happen to have one, compare it to my civic one, and hel best i can. there may be other resources from honda that i can provide to you.

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
Replaced the fuel filter, it is far beyond dirty. there was more residual pressure behind the filter than in front of it. the fitting is horribly corroded. PITA, and im still dealing with it. No friday nite drags.

i also installed an integra cluster in my eg but i modified the cluster to fit instead on cutting the dash. I cut the dash the first try and didnt like the look of it. so i cut the cluster instead. let me see if i can find pics of both.

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
Worked around and played with the fuel filter. Driveworks has LOW quality parts. the filter wouldnt seat, wasnt cross threaded and just a big headache. Going to honda at lunch tomorrow. pics below. poorly machined, not concentric for theads to seat. so it does not seat. threads are stll perfect in the filter.

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
Wish list
cam - looking to compare for a good can for 1/8th miles and autox
Cam gear - looking at the AEM true time
Hondata s300
intake manifold - victor x/ big throttlebody
bigger injectors - 440 or bigger
exhaust - SiR or a good aftermarket. looking to keep a cat to maintain a low tone
Suspension - Sk2 would be a dream. but we shall see what we can settle for. front and rear strut bar, lower tie bar front and rear. looking for something to stiffen up the car. i want no flex in the unibody. Energy suspension bushings. sway bars, preferably 4 door or itr.

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
i ended up cutting the dash... looks better considering I had two cluster surrounds laying around so it wasn't a big deal to chop one of them up.. Thanks for all the help by the way. Hatch is looking good.. My wishlist is almost yours... suspension/suspension/more suspension.

Re: 95 Cx BG-33P
SO, i was thinking. i do want some sort of sound system in the car. I wan a HOP. sony 70 with nav. on top of that, 2 8" subs, and 2 sets of speakers routed through a 4 channel amp. i worked car audio for too long. i want to do it well. no compact box in the cargo area for the subs.

P72 94 GSR head
Beginning to hand polish the intake runners.
Some of the lager imperfections in the exhaust runner.
Completed after about 3 hours. smooth through as close as the tool would let me. all casting lines removed as well for a more easily tuned head. i still have to get the guides to size. i ordered a reamer to bring them to size.
Saw these today on an Eg coupe in Hiram Ga. curious to have a honda logo on them.
