Not a 94-97 SOHC. There is the JDM Prelude Si F22B DOHC Non VTEC that is in that Hp range though.

ohhhh i see, that makes more sense, do u think it will be a direct swap without any cutting or doing anything to make the motor fit?

Yes the engine will fit without any chassis modification. IIRC there are a few DOHC F22B swap/build threads around. Try the FAQ's or an F22B search if you want more information pertaining to the swap.

I was gonna buy that F22B DOHC before I bought my H, but then tax return helped me. so I went with an H instead, and my I loved myself for doing that because now I can dust GSRs and what not.

Those JDM F22B DOHCs are nice though if you're on a budget.

Personally if I was going to go DOHC. I would take a Non VTEC H23 or F22B any day. Get some cams designed for how you want to run the car and your good to go..... VTEC is nice for a daily driver. Personally I think it's over rated.

I thought those c27s are rated at 170bhp?

Yeah but a V6 still has more than one cam. Read the question very closely. He isn't asking about a Single Over Head Cam Motor. He is specifically asking about a "single cam motor"
