What's a good alternative to a Mugen Rear Strut Bar?
I just checked out pricing on a Mugen rear strut bar and was wondering what a good alternative was and how comparable it was. This thing isn't cheap...

what ever you think looks good and that you can afford, one rear strut bar isnt any better then the next, they all do the exact same thing

Strut bars don't do anything. You might as well make on out of cardboard and put a mugen sticker on it...

i have an idea.
tie a piece of kite string from the top of one rear shock tower to the other. make it just tight enough to not sag.
put a camera in your car so you can clearly see nothing but the string, end to end. then, take a hard lap around the circuit.
review the tape. if the string changes tension, your strut towers are flexing. if it doesnt , then youre wasting your money.
let us know.

If you get one, make sure its not the cheap kind with joints that are bolted to the feet. A solid type like PWJDM will be the best but gains will me barely noticeable at best

Yes, rear shock tower bars are lame.
If anything has a good effect, it will be the 3pt front. Gains and "feel" are more pseudo effect than anything.
