That black looks awful especially with the hints of red showing all over like through the grill, hood, and wheel wells.

nice platform, but the thing that irritates me the most of all things is the license plate. 1.being screwed on the molding.
2. its relocated super high

all you gotta do to check if its an ex, is the vin. if it says ed4 in it, you're in luck, and have a red ex. if it says ed3, and you have power windows, locks, mirrors, chances are you've got an lx, if none of that matches except for the ed3 part, you've got a dx.

EX never came in red. But even if I didn't know the stock color, just seeing the bay I can tell it's not an EX.

awesome! get some updated pix..if i had that red color i wouldnt even touch it..i love that color.

why do you want a hatch front end? if jdm ef9 front i can understand but..the hatch front, the 90-91 front bumper is shorter and the 88-89 are the same. difference would be the corner light, sedan is longer, the filler cause sedan has a plastic filler, and the hood of the hatch goes all the way down to the metal filler.. basically the whole front is different.

What's so great about an EX? It's an LX with a 1.6... whoopie.

Could of executed a cleaner job by masking off the core support. Kinda ironic how you were complaining the red was rattlecanned over but you did the exact same thing with the primer. Good luck on the project though.

The EX is slightly different than the Si tranny.

DX/LX = 3.88 final drive
EX = 4.0 final drive
Si = 4.25 final drive

All have the same gearing just with their own final drives.

so would that make it slightly quicker?
i've read that its almost the same as a zc tranny.

any truth to this?
