- Speed limiter set to 180 mph instead of the standard 20360 mph
^---Is that a typo? Or is it just too early in the morning for me to understand? And my car already idles at 750...?

^on the FlashPro, you cant eliminate the speed limiter, its just set higher than the car can physically go. so basically the standard speed limiter is 136mph or whatever it is, on flashpro its 20360mph. ill put up a screen shot later, or a short video.
the idle rpm on the flashpro calibration is 850. and fyi, the tach on our cars read 100-125 rpm lower than it actually is.

I know this question will get asked eventually, so you may want to add it into your first post. Some advantages or disadvantages of flashpro compared to accessport.
Also some people preach that in order to get the full potential out of flashpro, you need a professional (dyno) tune. You seem to be doing fine without it. Any thoughts on this?

its the same way with the ap. the calibrations are just starting points that are tuned for the car to run safely. Quote:

i will be getting it soon, right now i just have an injen SRI but i'll soon be installing my TBS and DCRH.
flashpro eliminates CEL's from race headers, correct? would this also trick the emissions machine when you get your car registered?

About the race headers I think you can avoid the ECU trouble all together with a defouler....

i left mine enabled because i have the defouler that came with the s2rh. when i got my exhaust installed, i was gonna have them remove the secndary O2 sensor, but i failed to realize that the sensor harness is actually underneath the center console, so the sensor couldnt be removed.

I can leave my secondary o2 sensor on or off and I get no CEL's. The flashpro doesn't need to trick any emissions equipment. If your car is tuned optimally or running with a correct off the shelf calibration you shouldn't throw CEL's. Usually the CEL's at idle come from running too rich or lean. You shouldn't need a defouler with those race headers. I have a 3" downpipe, no cat, and skunk 2 70mm. I don't throw CEL's. I run closed loop so I idle just the same as a stock civic. So my air fuel ratio is the same as stock civic.

Update 10-21-09:
noticed that my car started backfiring again today due to the colder temperatures that are starting to roll around. not sure if theres flames, but its definitely loud enough for there to be a presence.

I guess I'll throw my .02 in on this also.
Mods: Injen CAI Strup RH HKS Ti Sport Exhaust Hondata Flashpro The only tweaks I made to my car was my launch control to 3600 with recovery at 3575. I also set the speed limiter from 20360 to 199mph. I still plan on dropping the idle and the over rev some time this week now that I finally have time to do so. My first impressions with the FP were very good. As soon as I started the car after the flash I noticed the car idled different, it sounded like it ran smoother. I backed the car out of my drive way and started to head up my street hardly giving the car 1/4 throttle and I could feel that it wanted to pull even at that throttle. I've had the FP for about 2-3 months now and I still cannot believe how much different the car runs everytime I drive it. The only complaint I have about the FP is it screws up the oil life meter and keeps it at 100%. I cannot wait for this winter to come and make the Si faster and have it dyno tuned using the FP to get the max potential out of the car.

^it only does that on MAP calibrations.
on AFM/MAF, it still works. i recommend you use the AFM/MAF with your injen. i tried MAP with my injen and that was an instant no go for me. when i switched back to AFM/MAF, it ran like a champ. i need to tweak my launch control also. i have it set too high for the curent road temps. i use to have wheel hop into vtec then it was just take off like a rocket. i tried to use my launch control today, and i just slammed 8500 like nobody's business.

Really? What didn't you like about the MAP settings?? I will have to try the MAF map tomorrow after work. I used my launch control on one of the coolest nights we had here at 3600 on Kumho AST's, the car hardly spun and took of like a champ!

^it felt a little sluggish on the bottom end.
try the afm/maf and you'll see what i mean. i think the map settings really put all the power up top and took away normal drivability.

But at the same time does the MAF map take away from the top end that the MAP map's have?

I will definitely be picking this up in the near future.
Is it true there is a Injen SRI map?
