If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Even if they they do ride "nice" and whatever I'm sure the quality of parts is really low to make up for it. I'm sure they do feel nice but if you were to ride in a car with those coilovers and then ride in a car with Konis you would probably think differently. Of course they are going to feel great compared to blow struts.
On the other hand. I spent 600 bucks shipped on my Konis and I LOVE them. I am just using them with B-G progressive springs which aren't the best but they are still wonderful! I love being able to adjust them and although I can't raise and lower my car whenever I want I would never do that anyway so I don't care.
I'm going to keep an open mind about these things until a long term test has been conducted on them and then I will make my opinion.
As for the OP. I hope they work out for you. That would be great to have a company committed to great quality parts for a great price. But I just don't understand how a part that everyone charges 800 bucks for (at the least) can easily be sold for 1/4 of the price.
Good luck!

Re: Budget full coilover, raceland (ep3 application)
Springs on coilovers are made for the CO not the car. Unless H&R makes a dedicated coilover spring (?) the ones that fit a stock strut won't fit the Raceland CO. Some companies do make various interchageable coilover springs (GroundControl comes to mind). I too would be curious if there are any available "repacement" springs for the Racelands. It would probably void their warranty though...

h&r on stock strut = dumbest thing i have ever done. i was gonna get toktico blues but im just save the extra couple of hundred dollars for my coilovers and six spd tranny and my 225 50 16 tires and a valve lash i cant wait!! it feels really stiff like stiff over bumps lol but i think im just hitting the bump stops idk but who cares im getting rid of them, but handles way way way better then stock i can take turns twice as fast without have my rear end side out like it use to.

Re: Budget full coilover, raceland (ep3 application)
another noob question. what exactly are spring rates? i have know yellows with skunk2 lowering springs, and i was thinkin about getting these since they are full coilovers. some one tell me if this is a good idea. oh and what does it mean if my front strut creaks a little?

im done vouching for this setup.. 6 months on my car ... 9,000 miles.. i am still satisfied, and they ride better than my TeinStech/tokico blues setup
