Well the reason i wanted to do this is because my ABS is junk and i want my bay to look clean, Thats mainly my point of removing the ABS. If it sounds dumb then I'm sorry.

I wish I had a non-abs accord also! Tired of troubleshooting that ABS light.

do NOT remove the ABS system. that **** is there to save your life on bad road conditions

very stupid to remove

tired of troubleshooting it? simply clean the sensors. that doesnt work, the abs rings should be adjusted or replaced. bleed the system. properly reset the electronics.

much much MUCH easier to fix a system then to remove it

EDIT I didnt mean to come up as an a$$ I just have had a few experiences with bad drivers on rainy and snowy conditions, and the ABS system saved me and my family, instead of locking up teh system and sliding off the road

I wouldn't want one in my Accord.

I got the info from CD5tuner.com.

first off...if you still ahve the motor in the car i will warn you now...THIS WILL BE MISERABLE EXPERIENCE!!! if you arent familiar with your engine bay, and mechanically inclined, this project is not for you...

but, if so...here you go...

goto a salvage yard, find any 90-97 accord or integra without ABS....best bet is 90-93 accord, thats waht i used....pull the proportioning valve
pictured here..

get the valve, the 2 master cylinder lines, the drivers side line to the wheel and the passenger side line to the wheel. be sure to keep all the hold downs on the lines as well, even bolts if you can.

you will also need a non ABD master cylinder....i used a new one for a 90-93 accord lx....u will need this because the rear line connector on the ABS master is some crazy fitting size.

anyway, disconnect and remove the master cylinder from your vehicle. disconnect the rear lines from the transition valve under the master. cut the that go to the wheels from the abs...its just easier that way....remove the transition valve
pictured next to the prop valve here:

now unbolt and remove the ABS unit and put the holder back in place to hold the P/S reservoir
as pictured here( unless you want to relocate the reservoir...not such an easy task)

connect the prop valve to the two rear lines and run the drivers side line thru its hole in the fenderwell. this will involve some shaping of the line to make it match up to the prop valve, just be sure not to crimp the line in ANY way.

now, the passenger side is a bit more difficult.....if the motor is still in the vehicle i would suggest getting line and bending your own, making 2 pieces actually. i used a 51" piece and a 12" piece
as shown here

i bent the 51" piece to match the first half of the stock line, then installed it, running the straight piece behind the motor. then i bent the 12" piece to goto the prop valve and used a union to connect the 2 lines neear the firewall.

now bolt the valve to the fenderwell
here you see it with the master in place already....

so, now you install the master...be sure to read instalation instruction on adjusting the push rod depth to the pedal before mounting the master. bench bleed the master or booster bleed it,

once installed bend the master lines from the prop to fit...again, be careful not to crimp the lines at all........tighten down and bleed the system!!!

have fun! i didn't!

all written by Clyd004 from CD5tuner.com

Hope this helps. I'mma be doing this to mine as well in the near future.

Great write up. Please post more if you have anything else on this. I want to do this on my 94 Accord because the light and the pump are on and off on and off but not working as they are supposed to. Too bad there was no link or write up on repairing the system.
