Icon2 Tips for Advance timing

just wondering what i should do for advance timing. i have a b18a1 in my 97 civic and i am running 10.5 in the 1/8th mile and tring to get to 10.2 or even 10.0. i wanna know like how many degrees i should do and what octane gas i should use

i was thinking almost 6 degrees but i have yet to do somthing like this

Over-advanced timing will do more harm than good. Leave it at stock base timing.
